With sensational sets, stunning special effects and brimming with memorable songs by the Sherman Brothers including Truly Scrumptious, Toot Sweets, Hushabye Mountain and its Oscar Nominated title song Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, this is the ultimate High-Flying Stage Musical. The enthralling story of the adventures of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the magical car as it sails the seas and flies through the air will bring back a host of memories. Adrian Noble has directed a cast of 40-plus in Jeremy Sam's stage adaptation of the 1968 movie-musical by Ian Fleming. Gary Wilmot stars as the happy go lucky inventor Caractacus Potts opposite Caroline Sheen as Truly Scrumptious who, together with Potts' two children, find themselves caught up in a magical adventure. The show promises to incorporate some additional tunes alongside the original Sherman brothers songs, which include the numbers Hushabye Mountain, Toot Sweets, Me 'Ol Bam-Boo and of course the memorable title song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
